What is Hugo
Hugo is a static HTML and CSS website generator written in Go. It is optimized for speed and ease of use, as well as easy configurable. Hugo takes a directory with content and templates and renders them into a complete HTML website. Hugo relies on Markdown files with front matter for metadata, and you can run Hugo from any directory. This works well for shared hosts and other systems where you don’t have a privileged account.

This port need not be open - since knockd listens at the link-layer level, it sees all traffic even if it's destined for a closed port. When the server detects a specific sequence of port-hits, it runs a command defined in its configuration file. Users can use this to open up holes in a firewall for quick access.
